Email orders are entered within 24 hours (during business days). Typically, this happens from 12noon to 3pm.  

Phone order are entered the same day. 

We will always ask you: 

  • Do you have any dietary requirements? 
  • Do you require complimentary disposible plates, cutlery & napkins? 
  • Who will be our on-the-day site contact and what is their mobile number?
  • What is your service (eating) time? (Delivery will typically be scheduled for 15 to 30 minutes prior).

Once a booking is received (via phone or email), it gets entered into our system within 24hours (during business days). 

You will receive an email with the booking invoice attached as soon as it is entered into our system. Please check the booking and respond to our email with confirming the booking details.  

For advance bookings (booking more than 7 days ahead), we send reminder confirmation emails out every Thursday or Friday the week prior to the event date. This is when we check for last minute changes to numbers and surprise dietary requirements. 

Your invoice will be sent to you via email when the booking is entered into our system. 

Love them! Feel free to ask us for a quote and we will email it through. 

We require confirmation of advance booking details 3 business days prior to your event. After that cut-off time you will try our best to look after you with no guarantees. 

Can we do it? We try our very best! Our available options narrow with the notice time we are given. While we may not have delivery available, you can always collect from our Harristown kitchen. The fastest things we can turn out are fresh scones and delicious wraps. 

7 days notice or more will give you access to our complete menus. We take bookings up to 18 months in advance.

Private clients are required to pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking and the outstanding balance must be paid on delivery or (upon approval) within 7 days of your event. 

Corporate clients with orders under $500 can request a 7 day account. Orders over $500 are subject to a 50% deposit, with the balance payable within 7 days. 

If you need a purchase order number on your invoice, email it through and we will update your invoice with the details. 

On application, we offer 7 day accounts to corporate clients. 

Bank transfers (EFT payments) can be made using the details on the bottom of your booking invoice. Please reference the invoice number. If you require a receipt, please email us with the request.  

Credit card payment is incredibly easy. Simply open your booking invoice pdf and click on the blue link. Then follow the prompts to complete the payment. You will then automatically be emailed a receipt. 

Cheque payments are only accepted if you are a non-profit or large charity. This is not available to private clients. 

We require final confirmation 3 days prior to your event. If you cancel your event after that, you still have to pay your bill as we would have already commenced ordering ingredients and prepping for your event. 

Terms of Service (“Terms”)

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the https://monkeybusiness.catering website (the “Service”) operated by Monkey Business Catering (“us”, “we”, or “our”). 

Your access to and use of the Service is conditional on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. You warrant that you are at least 18-years-old and you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you are under 18-years-old, you warrant that you have obtained consent from your parent or guardian and they agree to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. 

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service. 

Purchases 

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information. 

You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete. 

By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases. 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons. 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorised or illegal transaction is suspected. 

The Service is not designed to provide qualitative advice regarding the fitness for purpose and merchantability of any products or services. We strongly advise you to exercise caution and do your own due diligence in conducting any transactions through the Service. 

Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies 

We are constantly updating our offerings of products and services on the Service. The products or services available on our Service may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable, and we may experience delays in updating information on the Service and in our advertising on other web sites. 

We cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice. 

The content is provided without warranties or conditions of any kind either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. 

Accounts 

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service. 

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. 

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You agree to be fully responsible for activities that relate to your account or your password. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.     

Intellectual Property 

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Monkey Business Catering and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Australia and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Monkey Business Catering. Nothing in these Terms constitutes a transfer of any Intellectual Property rights from us to you.     

Links To Other Web Sites 

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Monkey Business Catering. 

Monkey Business Catering has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Monkey Business Catering shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services. 

We only provide links to external websites as a convenience, and the inclusion of such a link to external websites do not imply our endorsement of those websites. You acknowledge and agree that when you access other websites on the Internet, you do so at your own risk. 

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit. 

Termination 

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. 

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service. 

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability. 

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any claims or damages arising out of any termination or suspension or any other actions taken by us in connection therewith. 

If applicable law requires us to provide notice of termination or cancellation, we may give prior or subsequent notice by posting it on the Service or by sending a communication to any address (email or otherwise) that we have for you in our records. 

Indemnification     

As a condition of your access to and use of the Service, you agree to indemnify us and our successors and assigns for all damages, costs, expenses and other liabilities, including but not limited to legal fees and expenses, relating to any claim arising out of or related to your access to and use of the Service or your breach of these Terms and any applicable law or the rights of another person or party.     

This indemnification section survives the expiration of your registration, and applies to claims arising both before and after the registration ends. 

Limitation Of Liability 

You agree that we shall not be liable for any damages suffered as a result of using the Service. 

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damage (including loss of business, revenue, profits, use, privacy, data, goodwill or other economic advantage) however it arises, whether for breach of contract or in tort, even if it has been previously advised of the possibility of such damage. 

We do not endorse the any products and services, and expressly disclaim any and all liability in connection with them. In no event shall we be liable for any claims by a third party in tort or contract, or pursuant to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) including, but not limited, to any misleading statements made and/or incorporated into any Content provided by third parties, such as manufacturers and wholesalers, and users of the Service. It is your sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the data inputted. 

You have sole responsibility for adequate security protection and backup of data and/or equipment used in connection with your usage of the Service and will not make a claim against for lost data, re-run time, inaccurate instruction, work delays or lost profits resulting from the use of the Service.  

Without limiting the foregoing, in no event will our aggregate liability to you exceed, in total, the amounts paid by you to us.

This disclaimer of liability applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access or, alteration of or use of record in connection with the use or operation of the Service, whether for breach of contract, tortious behaviour, negligence or any other cause of action. 

We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the content contained on the Service for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk. Governing Law 

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. 

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service. 

Changes 

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. 

It is your sole responsibility to periodically check these Terms for any changes. If you do not agree with any of the changes to these Terms, it is your sole responsibility to stop using the Service. Your continued use of the Service will be deemed as your acceptance thereof.

We aim to create a product of exceptional quality.  

If the product you receive is lacking in some way please immediately notify either the delivery person or our manager on 0406 141 682.  

The damaged goods must be returned in their current condition in order to be exchanged or an appropriate discount placed against your order. 

The first delivery for your order is free for orders over $100 within Toowoomba.  

For multiple deliveries, deliveries under $100 or deliveries outside of central Toowoomba there is a fee. The fee is calculated at $2.20 per km from our Harristown kitchen location.  

We aim to schedule your delivery 15 to 30 minutes prior to event start time. If you have a large order, refrigeration on site or hot food we flex the delivery time.  

Sometimes things outside of our control (like traffic conditions!) affect the delivery time. On the rare occasion that this happens, we always use the supplied site contact mobile number to let you know what is happening and when your order will arrive. 

We have done it all! Gluten Free, Diary Free, Vegan, Vegetarian and Nut Allergies are the most common. There have also been Diabetics, Fructose allergies, Sugar Free and Red Meat Free through our kitchen. 

Please note that we have a mixed environment kitchen. This means that while we are extremely careful with dietary restrictions there is a risk involved in the products we supply. They may contain traces of an allergen.  

If you have any concerns about contaminants, please let us know and we will source product from non-mixed environment kitchen to suit your restrictions. 

Our manager, Amy, is a Coeliac, living with the struggles of a Gluten Free diet (its genetic!). She eats from our kitchen. 

Depending on the number of men vs women, general temperature, time of day and meal period you will need different amounts of food. Our packages have been created to nice, country sized portions. We can custom serving sizes to better suit, so let us know if you require non-average serving sizes. 

We love our baking! Every weekday you can find one or more of us with the oven going by 7am.  The scone are Amy’s grandmothers recipe. 

These are the ones that add spice to our lives! Give us a call or send us an email and we will get back to you with a quote. 

Our gorgeous platters are environmentally friendly and recyclable. Simply throw them into a recycle bin at the end of your event.  

We do most types of events, for groups of up to 250people within 30km radius of Toowoomba. These have included:

We don’t cater sit down dinners (aka the alternate drop) and are unable to cook on-site in your kitchen facilities. We are the ninja, drop & run style of caterers. 

We do deliver warm food. If you have order some from us we will aim to delivery the items about 15minutes prior to your eating time so they are still deliciously warm! 

We have complimentary disposable plates, wooden cutlery and napkins available. They are enviro-friendly and recyclable. They are great solid design (no nasty bendy plates or knives), biodegradable and not too bad on the eyes.  

Please request them if you need them!  

Minimum group sizes are 10 people. Maximum group size is 250 people.  

If you have a group outside these number get in touch and we will let you know what we can do! 

We try and keep everything as simple as possible for your event. Typically, we will supply your food on our gorgeous disposable platters meaning that there will be nothing to return to us.  If your event has special requirements we have a limited number of urns and display platters available for use. This would need to be returned to our Harristown kitchen. 

If you require additional equipment we can recommend a local hire company! 

Our team will deliver and help store or set out your order. They will then leave you to it. If you require extra staffing for your event, we recommend the team at Classic Recruitment. They have experienced bar and wait staff who can run your event and clean up afterwards. You can call them directly on (07) 4638 3599 or we can forward your details directly to them and they will get in touch.

We operate on Sunday and Public Holidays if you make an advance booking with us. These bookings are subject to a 10% surcharge due to the increase labour costs. 

We do not supply serving cutlery as there is no practical disposable option on the market. 

If you are organising a fundraiser or are a non-profit, we offer a 5% discount on our products. This is our thank-you and contribution to your efforts. 

We shop locally! If we can get it in Toowoomba, we do.
